Clifford to offer fundraising help

Max Clifford is to speak at a charity comms conference on how charities can work effectively with celebrities.

The publicist will address delegates at PRWeek's sister magazine Third Sector's 'Fundraising, PR and Communications Excellence' conference on 12 March, discussing the role of celebrities in successful fundraising.

Speaking at the conference will be comms chiefs from The National Trust, Beatbullying and Unicef UK - Ivo Dawnay, Niall Cowley and Angela Travis respectively.

Other speakers are Society Guardian editor Patrick Butler, Today programme deputy editor Peter Hanington and The Daily Telegraph chief political correspondent Toby Helm.

The conference will take place in The Ibis hotel in Earl's Court. Delegates who book before 24 January will get a £50 discount.
