Lewis to promote IT headhunter

An AIM-listed IT consultancy has brought in Lewis PR for a corporate campaign focusing on the skills shortage in the computing industry.

After a three-way pitch, InterQuest retained Lewis for all its UK PR work. The company specialises in recruitment and headhunting for the IT industry, and has contracts with blue chip retailers including Sainsbury's, McDonald's and Dixons.

Lewis will promote InterQuest to target audiences of business decision-makers and IT recruiters. The agency will position InterQuest to the B2B media as a 'thought leader' on topics including the importance of flexible working hours in IT and a perceived shortage of skilled computer technicians.

- Lewis' wholly owned subsidiary Octane PR has promoted associate director Kelly Hall to MD of the London agency.

Launch MD Nick Leonard is leaving, but will remain as a consultant until March. Octane launched in 2002 with clients including BT and email security firm Postini.
