Chatsworth director Nick Murray-Leslie and his team at the London agency will promote £3m biodiesel-fueled powerboat Earthrace. The boat will circumnavigate the globe starting in March, maintaining a zero carbon footprint to promote sustainability.
‘Biofuels and sustainability are right up our street, so we are going to work on this one to help with the international comms at the various ports where the boat is due to stop and to drum up sponsorship,’ said Murray-Leslie.
Freelance PR consultant Beverley Bailey had been working on the Earthrace project for four months, but contacted PR Week in hopes of attracting sponsorship last week.
PR Newswire has also been involved, providing the Earthrace team with its global contact database.
Earthrace will be docked in Greenwich this week so Londoners can meet the crew and learn more about sustainable resources.
