The cosmetics company is understood to have whittled the pitch-list down to a few agencies, with one to be appointed by the end of the year. The brief is believed to run into six figures, but L’Oréal would not confirm this.
L’Oréal is frequently in the news, having made headlines in the past year for its £650m acquisition of Dame Anita Roddick’s The Body Shop, which caused surprise in some circles.
This month L’Oréal brought in one of its top executives, Sophie Gasperment, to run The Body Shop following the death of entrepreneur Roddick in September.
