The 60-second film graphically details the dangers of gun crime. Lambeth expects that up to 1,000 children a day will receive it on their way to school.
Mobile marketing agency MobsVentures is installing Bluetooth masts through December, targeting specific estates and bus stops.
The film is acted out by young people from Lambeth and shows the consequences of carrying weapons.
Lambeth comms officer Sarah Campion said: ‘It is adding an extra layer of communication. Technology is a really good way of reaching young people.
'The film follows the recent launch of an awareness-raising campaign that used leafleting and billboard posters to show the impact of crime and the steps that are being taken to decrease crime across the borough.
Lambeth Council has also put in place a gangs commission as part of its attempts to reduce the number of young people involved in crime.Click here to view this film
