The education charity runs adventure expeditions across the globe for volunteers of all ages from all nationalities.
The chosen applicant will start in February and will be based at the charity’s Indian headquarters in Mysore.
The incumbent will be responsible for dealing with the Indian national and regional press and will also handle comms activity between the 100 volunteers on nine rural project sites across India.
Raleigh head of fundraising and comms Teresa Fitzgerald said: ‘Because this is the first time we are sending volunteers to India, it is all the more important to get the PR process right.’
The charity has been running for 23 years. So far, 30,000 people have been involved in more than 250 expeditions.
