Larkins will join the firm, billed as Gordon Brown’s favourite pollsters, as director of public and voluntary sector strategy. He said he would be working with charities and public sector bodies to help build and develop ‘citizen engagement’.
Larkins, who has headed up the 15-strong team since January 2005, is leaving The Youth Justice Board next month.
The body is now on the hunt for a new director of comms but its head of marketing communications Benet Hiscock will take on Larkins’ responsibilities temporarily. The Youth Justice Board hopes to have a replacement by April.
