The ‘No Voice, No Choice’ campaign calls on the Government to make it a legal right for those that need communications aids to have access them.
The charity will raise public awareness by getting various celebrities to pose with gags on, highlighting the importance of being able to communicate.
Last week, the women from car insurance company Sheilas’ Wheels posed gagged beside Speakers Corner in London’s Hyde Park.
The charity has just completed research of communication aid users and their families.
It found that over two-thirds of people who cannot speak without specialist equipment wait for more than six months to receive aid.
