Lacaine has been brought on board to a newly created role as a consultant. He joins a six-strong team, reporting to Kelly Teasdale.
He previously worked at Weber Shandwick in Brussels as an account manager.
Before Weber Shandwick, Lacaine was European affairs manager at the European Men’s Health Forum for three years.
CCA managing director Neil McGregor-Paterson said of the appointment: ‘It is critical for clients to have a communications agency that understands the policy environment.’
CCA’s clients include pharma companies GSK, Pfizer and Schering-Plough. The agency has offices in cities including New York, Washington, London and Paris.
