Targeted at 18 to 24 year olds, trutap allows users to send instant messages, upload text and pictures to blogs, and share photos, all for free.
The Lounge Group will promote trutap to teenagers with its ‘Battle for The Enemy' campaign, which will see students competing for the highest number of trutap downloads. The winning university will be rewarded with a performance by indie band The Enemy.
The Lounge Group's MD of PR Lisa Jedan and her team will report directly to CEO Doug Richard and trutap head of marketing Claritza Diaz.
The agency is currently launching Samsung's newest F210 phone (PRWeek, 2 November 2007). The Lounge Group's other clients include Nivea, Electronic Arts and Miller Genuine Draft.
