Letters - Members clubs are good for business

Frank MD Andrew Bloch misses the point in his criticism of private members clubs (Features, 12 October).

If you want to catch up with a client for coffee or lunch, Walthamstow dogs or a music festival field are not practical. If you want discreet and comfortable surroundings, good service from people who value your custom and a late-night bolt hole, private members clubs are hard to beat.
