Berkeley PR has been handed a three-year contract, following a competitive pitch. The account was previously held by Trimedia Harrison Cowley.
It will publicise the charity’s sheltered housing and care homes in the South West on both a local and national basis.
Berkeley will be targeting trade press, including Caring Times and Community Care, as well as national and local media.
The agency will position Brunelcare as a thought-leader on ‘person-centred care’.
Residents of Brunelcare’s care homes choose when they want to eat or take their medication, which the charity claims helps them to retain a degree of independence.
The account will be headed up by regional director Sara Lewis, who will report into Brunelcare’s CEO Helen Joy.
