Corp comms MD Euart Glendinning will take up a new post at the beginning of next year. Details of his new role have not been disclosed and Glendinning could not be contacted as PRWeek went to press.

Glendinning will be replaced by Wesley McDade, who joins from Swiss financial services group Credit Suisse.

Glendinning was Morgan Stanley’s first European head of corp comms when he was brought in 11 years ago (PRWeek, 17 May 1996).

He was previously global head of corporate communications at Banque Paribas. Before joining the French bank in 1993 he worked at financial PR and investor relations agency Charles Barker Georgeson.

His 1996 move to Morgan Stanley marked a return to the bank, where he previously worked in its mergers and acquisitions department between 1989 and 1991. He coordinated Morgan Stanley’s search for a successor and will continue to work at the firm until the New Year.

McDade is currently working in the US and has also worked for Morgan Stanley in the past. He currently advises on communications around asset management at Credit Suisse.
