Splendid hires rival's CD to aid new launch

Consumer PR shop Splendid has hired rival agency Radiator's creative director to launch a sports and gaming division.

Gary Bradshaw has joined Splendid to spearhead the agency’s drive into the sector. As yet no clients have been signed up, but the agency is understood to be in talks with interested brands.

Bradshaw will report to Splendid’s MD and founder Alec Samways. Hius initial focus will be will be to recruit and grow the department.

Prior to Radiator, Bradshaw worked at Cake Media handling its Nintendo account. He also previously worked on the Umbro and Vans accounts at Joe Public Relations.

Splendid’s existing clients include Geek Squad, Guinness, Marmite and Smirnoff.
