Kelling: on the slow bus to Coventry

PRWeek is not infallible. For example, sometimes it uses pointless double negatives in short sentences to make them sound slightly anarchic. Not only that, it very occasionally includes factual inaccuracies that prey on the mind of our industry's finest.

This week, The Sunday Times journalist Dominic O'Connell was so dismayed by the blatant lies told by Visit London comms director Ken Kelling (PRWeek, 12 October) that he felt compelled to write in.

Kelling asked readers to try to get a night bus in New Zealand, making the lucid argument that London Transport Rules OK.

'Most cities in New Zealand operate a night bus system,' said O'Connell. 'Such as the one in Christchurch.'
