The deal with Hochegger paves to way for B-M work accross Central and Eastern Europe.
The affiliate partnership builds on an existing relationship between Hochegger and Burson-Marsteller in Austria.
But it extends the existing arrangements by also giving B-M a presence in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia.
Burston-Marsteller Europe CEO Jeremy Galbraith said: ‘We have clients who want to have reach across Eastern Europe. Since I started on September 1, my priority has been to build this network.’
He added that further announcements would be made about more countries in the region.
