Ringshaw, one of the City’s best-known journalists, is leaving the paper after only one year. At Citigate he will report to financial practice MD Patrick Donovan.
Ringshaw joined The Sunday Times in 2006 after a stint at the The Daily Telegraph, where he was financial services editor.
Previously he spent seven years at The Sunday Telegraph, where he was deputy city editor. Earlier in his career, Ringshaw edited Money Marketing magazine.
