Fleishman-Hillard lands Hepatitis Day

The Hepatitis C Trust has handed Fleishman-Hillard a global brief to raise awareness of World Hepatitis Day, which launches next year.

The agency was awarded the account after a competitive three-way pitch against undisclosed agencies.

World Hepatitis Day is a new initiative to draw attention to the scale of chronic viral hepatitis.

Fleishman-Hillard will work on World Hepatitis Day for 2008 and 2009. The Hepatitis C Trust is co-ordinating the campaign for the World Hepatitis Day steering committee of patient group representatives.

Comms activity will be aimed at the general public, people at risk, healthcare providers and government.

Fleishman-Hillard will work with patient groups across the globe to implement the campaign. More than 50 countries are expected to take part in the activity.

Regional support will be provided by the agency’s global network of offices including Hong Kong, Miami, Washington and Geneva.
