PR boss Ahmed to leave Domino's

The PR chief at Domino's has resigned, bringing to an end a 12-year association with the pizza delivery brand.

Bernadette Ahmed, UK PR and comms controller for the US-listed firm, will go freelance next year and is hunting for her replacement.

Ahmed worked on the Domino’s account for Manchester-based Lawson Leah Public Relations for four years from 1995, before moving in-house in 1999.

Domino’s attracted negative media coverage last month after a Hungarian worker at the Wolverhampton branch of the restaurant chain told the BBC money had been illegally deducted from his wages.

Domino’s strongly denied the claim but did admit to ‘a lack of clarity in HR paperwork’.
