The firm, which manufactures accessories such as earphones and headset adapters for mobiles, mp3 players and other portable gadgets, has in the past promoted itself as having been ‘used by rock stars for years’.
Mustard PR account consultant Nicky Atkins heads the account. Atkins joined Mustard one month ago from Vector Marketing Communications, where, as account manager, she headed the PR for a division of printer firm Epson.
Atkins said Mustard will initially be charged with launching q-JAYS, which Jays claims are the smallest and lightest headphones available with ‘dual arm-atures’ – where a single ‘tweeter’ delivers precise high-frequency sounds while a ‘woofer’ generates rich low and mid-range sounds.
