Work will boost Hep B awareness

The Hepatitis B Foundation has brought in its first agency support to boost awareness of research into the numbers of people affected by the worst form of the condition.

Reynolds-Mackenzie has been appointed to the brief following a three-way pitch. The agency will work alongside newly-appointed public affairs agency Insight PA to raise awareness of chronic hepatitis B (CHB) in the UK.

The first communications activity will launch in November.  At the same time Insight PA will undertake a lobbying campaign to government in order the raise awareness of the condition.

The Department of Health estimates that 180,000 people in the UK suffer from CHB.
