Mediabox Teams Up With Channel 4's FourDocs for Documentary Competition

The Media Trust is to kick off intensive media activity to publicise the results of a competition organised by funding body Mediabox.

The FourDocs competition, arranged in conjunction with Channel 4, has enabled ten disadvantaged young people to make their own documentary.

Media Trust will use radio, TV and local press to inform young people about media projects available to them, promote these opportunities to relevant organisations and encourage media companies to be future partners.

Mediabox is a £6m government fund set up to enable disadvantaged young people aged 13 to 19 to work on media projects.

Judging for the competition takes place on 26 September. The winning entry will be aired on C4.
