‘We will be carrying out press office and brand-building work for Tragus,’ said Consolidated board director Liz Fay. ‘To date they have been running a very traditional press office operation and we hope to refresh the PR approach.’
Launched in 1989, Café Rouge is about to open its 100th branch. Consolidated will focus on the annual Beaujolais run, a driving event that takes place in the UK and France.
‘We aim to re-ignite interest in the Beaujolais run as it will appeal to Café Rouge’s young clientele and wine is part of the brand image,’ said Fay.
Tragus acquired Bella Pasta from Whitbread in 2002, later rebranding the chain as Bella Italia.
Ortega, a chain of Spanish restaurants, launched last year.
