Johnson King wins two web briefs

B2B tech agency Johnson King has won two accounts in the web consultancy sector.

Search specialist Recommind and French blog expert Digimind have both hired the London-based tech firm to increase their profiles in trade publications.

Johnson King will position US-based Recommind as a thought leader in the area of enterprise search, and a challenger to high-profile competitors such as UK software firm Autonomy.

‘It will eventually be commonplace to access company systems in the same way that we navigate the internet using search engines such as Google,’ said Johnson King account director Joe Banks.

‘The market has still barely been scratched in terms of the opportunities that exist,’ he added.

The agency has already worked on campaigns for enterprise search companies FAST, Endeca and NCorp.

French outfit Digimind has also hired Johnson King to handle its UK and French media relations. The consultancy advises firms on how to use data from websites and blogs. Johnson King’s campaign will focus on trade press in the pharma and financial services sectors.

Account director Flora Haslam will lead the work in London. She said: ‘The business world suffers from malinformation – Digimind aims to change this.’

Carol Pender, head of Johnson King’s French office, will lead the account in France.
