Modec looks for agency support

A company that makes electronic home delivery vehicles for companies incĀ­luding Tesco is on the hunt for PR support following an unsuccessful pitch last week.

Modec is looking for an agency to act as a press office, target the trade press and secure national consumer coverage.

The initial 12-month contract will pay roughly £2,000 a month. The agency will be expected to support Modec’s European and US launches at the end of the year. Marketing and PR manager Catherine Hutt said she wanted an ‘enthusiastic and proactive’ agency.

Hutt saw pitches from three agencies last week but decided not to appoint any of them. Up until last month, Modec used Birmingham agency Rightfootforward.
