Mantra PR, Mi Comms, Noble PR, 77 PR, Launch Group, Braben, PPR Publicity and Worcestershire-based Mad as a March Hare have been hired.

Existing agencies Taylor Herring and Mason Williams remain on the roster and continue to work on Rupert the Bear and Postman Pat respectively.

The ten agencies will be in the running for upcoming projects, such as Where’s Wally? and a new Transformers animated series.

Separately, Taylor Herring has been appointed for Entertainment Rights’ DVD launch of Barbie musical The Island Princess, which head of PR Simon Avis predicted would reach ‘the top ten of DVD releases for kids this Christmas’.

The campaign includes online and kids and mainstream media work, with plans to sign up a celebrity ambassador.

Avis called the pitch after joining from Discovery Networks earlier this year.
