Abbotts opts for Partnership job

FD-LLM partner Ben Abb-otts is to take a top role at The Policy Partnership.

Abbotts will start the new role in early October, having already handed in his resignation at LLM (PRWeek, 3 August).

At The Policy Partnership Abbotts takes the title of senior associate. He will effectively replace Rory Scanlan, who recently quit his role as a partner at The Policy Partnership to become a board director at Fishburn Hedges.

Abbotts joined LLM in April 2004, having previously been The Communication Group’s political division director.

His departure from LLM follows that of co-founder Jon Mendelsohn, who has been appointed as the Labour Party’s director of general election resources and will start next month.

Last week, LLM appointed Christopher Cuddihy, private secretary to skills minister Phil Hope, as a senior account manager.
