United Utilities fleshes out team

United Utilities has acted swiftly to plug the gaps in its lobbying operation, bringing in two new public affairs managers.

The water and electricity group has brought in former British Nuclear Fuels lobbyist Peter Osborne.

He held the role of stakeholder and international relations and community affairs manager at British Nuclear Fuels before quitting earlier this year.

It has also promoted Mark Donaghy, previously a press officer at United Utilities. Both will report to head of government affairs William Parkes, who joined this year from Transport from London.

The recent departure of public affairs managers Ian Latta and Paula Wright left the group with just one full-time public affairs person.
