Cow PR snaps up Heinz account

Heinz has handed Cow PR a broad consumer brief which includes promoting its flagship brand Heinz Beanz.

Cow fought off competition from rival agencies Frank and Shine Communications to scoop the brief, which was put out to pitch over a month ago (PRWeek, 29 June). All three agencies have worked with Heinz on a project basis previously.

Frank will continue to work on some Heinz projects, including sauces, but Shine will have no further involvement with the brand, said corporate and government affairs director Nigel Dickie.

Heinz Beanz has recently come under pressure from Branston Baked Beans, which was launched a year and a half ago.
