Kay, who starts at Lewis this week, will become an associate director. He will lead coporate work for clients including Experian and Lexmark.
Kay’s appointment, together with that of recent recruit Will Sturgeon (brought in from Silicon.com) is part of a hiring spree for Lewis.
The agency was recently rocked by the departure of four senior employees, including high-profile blogger Drew Benvie, who is working for rival Hotwire.
As well as Benvie, Lewis lost head of international media strategy Michael Gonzalez, marketing manager David Cunningham, and account director Gillian Savage in the recent raft of departures (PRWeek, 22 June).
