Playgolf wants to promote its ‘golf for everyone’ image as a realistic corporate venture and will highlight the success of its newly opened Northwick Park, Manchester and Metro (London) courses.
The primarily corporate and financial brief will also involve some work promoting new courses, including a pending venue in Kilbride.
The company’s flagship 8-hole golf course and leisure complex in Northwick Park has embarked on a 60,000 multi-media marketing campaign that will feature the venue on radio stations and buses, and at tube stations and bars in the West End.

Meanwhile, Holborn this week rebrands as Square1 Consulting. The agency will have two wings – Square1 Corporate, offering its traditional financial and corporate support; and Square1 Sports, which will advise on sporting business interactions.
It has been advising on Thaksin Shinawatra’s controversial takeover of Manchester City Football Club (PRWeek, 4 May) and this week was deflecting allegations of human rights violations against the ex-Thai PM.
