James Warren – Weber Shandwick’s director of web relations – argues that companies and brands should be using in-house talent, rather than agencies, for social media outreach.
In this week’s podcast Warren says that while agencies can ‘provide best practice guidelines’ and advise on ‘where your audiences are and what they are saying about you’, engaging with audiences through social media should be done by internal staff.
