Ketchum goes for Asian growth

Ketchum is planning to target more global healthcare accounts, with a particular emphasis on Asian markets, following a restructure of its senior healthcare team.

The restructure was prompted by the promotion of Ketchum healthcare EMEA MD Avril Lee to the role of deputy CEO of Ketchum London.

It has included the promotion of healthcare director Sebastien Desprez to the newly created role of managing director of international healthcare.

Ketchum CEO and partner David Gallagher said  that although Desprez would take on much of Lee’s duties, he would have a more global remit. He will focus on strengthening links with colleagues in the US and in particular Asia, which is seen as a key area of growth.

Also as part of the restructure healthcare director Susannah Knox has been promoted, also to the role of healthcare managing director, taking on much of Lee’s UK-focused work.
