The builder wanted to refresh its agency relationship and insisted the parting was ‘amicable’.

Blythe Weigh will take over a basic financial brief, but also work on some public affairs projects.

Founders Tim Blythe and Paul Weigh head the account. Blythe Weigh was formed when the pair completed a MBO of financial and corporate clients from Beattie Communications’ London office, where they had been employed.

Blythe is a former head of PR at the Natwest Group, and director of corporate affairs at WHSmith and Rolls-Royce. Weigh was previously deputy head of corporate comms at Mittal Steel, and joined Beattie after working on the Mittal acquisition of Arcelor.

Morgan Sindall’s Partnership for Fire arm (PFF) this month announced a joint venture to build and run new fire and emergency services facilities in Dorset. PFF will provide two new fire stations and a new joint police divisional and fire area headquarters in Poole and a fire service area headquarters in Dorchester.

Morgan Sindall was co-founded by John Morgan in 1997. He is now the firm’s executive chairman.
