The beat combo's success has something to do with a clever online PR campaign rolled out in the last few weeks advised by 3 Monkeys.
And why 3 Monkeys? Well, keyboard player Mark Kelly is the partner of 3 Monkeys' CEO Angie Moxham. Needless to say, the pitch was not competitive.
'I'm not sure Marillion means a great deal to some of our 20-something execs,' said Moxham. 'But I certainly scored 50 cool points in the office thanks to Mark getting in the charts.'
