Letters - Morgan is a fine one to lecture on truth

One could wait a lifetime for a tabloid editor to say something considered about the PR industry; it's part of the game of caricature that both parties indulge in. PROs are either unscrupulous or airheads, while red top editors are shirt-sleeved warriors locked in a daily struggle to bring truth and enlightenment. Anyway, Piers Morgan surely pushes a point too far when he rails against PROs: 'I don't mind bad news. What I hate is wrong news or deliberately misleading news.'

Is this the same Piers Morgan who was sacked for passing off as genuine fake photographs of British soldiers? As another esteemed organ might say, 'I think we should be told'.
