Detica is perhaps best known for its information analysis for the Department of Homeland Security in the US.
However, it also worked on projects for the Ministry of Defence in the UK. Recent Detica clients also include car insurance website Sheila’s Wheels, news service Reuters and Vodafone.
Porter Novelli will conduct a media relations campaign as Detica aims to increase its profile across Europe. The agency will aim to position Detica as a ‘thought leader’ in the sector.
Porter Novelli director Keith Taylor said: ‘We will be focused from day one on driving Detica’s positioning as a challenger brand.’
The account win coincides with Detica’s entry into the FTSE 250 this year.
