The toolkit is aimed at integrating evaluation of health comms campaigns into everyday work.
Both in house and agency PROs can access the online tool via a password-protected, secure storage area at www.hca-uk.org. There are also evaluation plans that can be easily edited and included in programme proposals, pitch documents and comms plans.
HCA chair Julia Cook said the new tool ‘should allow for more standardisation of the evaluation process across the industry and introduce a common platform’. There is an online tutorial at www.hca-org/IET-Tutorial.
The new toolkit also contains a case study of the evaluation process, which has been reduced in length and simplified, following a review of the paper-based product. The price is tiered according to the number of users in a company.
