Hit or Miss ... Blinking lights

Eco PR firm Futerra won blanket coverage this week following its 'Lights Out London' campaign for Capital Radio. The event saw London landmarks such as Buckingham Palace fall into darkness on the evening of the summer solstice (21 June), in a bid to encourage homeowners to follow suit. Before and after shots of the usually twinkling London Eye without its capsule lighting could be seen on the BBC website, alongside broadsheet, tabloid and TV coverage.
