Susie Rea has been interim head of PR since last November, when she took over from Lee Hobbs, who is now working for a children’s games company. Rea will continue to work with the charity in Northern Ireland, but the details of her new role are yet to be decided.
The head of PR reports to director of press and PR Carolan Davidge and is responsible for overseeing a ten-strong PR team, as well as managing the charity’s consumer agency, Frank PR.
Davidge explained: ‘We currently spend more than £250 million a year on research, and are planning to increase that figure over the coming years. PR is a crucial way of raising the money to fund that ambition.’
