London Councils shops for agency

Trade organisation London Councils is on the hunt for an agency to promote its Freedom Pass - a travel card for the disabled and the over 60s.

London Councils, which represents London’s 33 local authorities, wants to encourage more people to apply for a pass. It is keen to publicise the extension, which will see pass holders able to travel on local buses anywhere in England for free from April 2008.

London Councils also wants to flag up the fact that customers need to reapply for a new pass in the first few months of next year.

An agency is expected to be in place by the end of the July. The contract will be overseen by London Councils head of corporate comms Steve Pearce.
