The one-off four-week project will see Savvy PR promoting four organised markets and encouraging people to hold their own sales. The agency will emphasis the unique and vintage clothes that are on offer at the markets, which take place later this month.
Savvy PR will spread the word through women’s weeklies as well as targeting shoppers online.
Topshop has been supporting the National Domestic Violence Helpline for the past two years. The helpline is run by Women’s Aid and Refuge, and aims to support women and children who are victims of domestic violence.
A Women’s Aid spokeswomen said: ‘Topshop is helping us to make support for the issue more trendy and bring it out into the open. We want to encourage people to talk about domestic violence and let them know that help is available.’
