PRWeek repeats new media event

PRWeek is repeating its PR and New Media conference in October, after the June event sold out in just seven weeks.

The popularity of the conferences highlights the need for PR professionals to manage the messaging potential, and incumbent risks, of new digital media channels.

The new event will take place 2 October at The Lewis Media Centre, with a similar programme to the first conference on 26 June, but with a new set of speakers. These include Martin Fewell, deputy editor of Channel 4 News, Alex Balfour, head of new media London 2012 and Michael Smith, deputy director of digital, COI.
