Private equity firm BC Partners this week acquired the UK arm of Foxtons in a deal believed to be worth around £400m.
Citigate was brought in to advise specifically on the deal towards the end of 2006. Citigate said it was too early to say whether, or for how long, it would continue to work with Foxtons. Foxtons has been in negotiations with a range of private equity firms for around six months.
BC Partners was advised by Cardew Group, its retained agency of five years, led by director Richard Spiegelberg.
