Letter - A degree 'not worth the ink on the CV'
As a PR post-graduate looking for a first job, the views of the CIPR's Mark Ramsdale (Letters, 30 March) induced optimism. However, I am starting to think I did the wrong degree. During an ultimately unsuccessful interview at a leading recruitment agency, a woman with over a decade's experience in PR recruitment gave me the impression such degrees were barely worth the ink on the CV. I am left wondering whether, when I do find work, it will be in spite of my CIPR-approved degree, and not because of it.
