PARIS: A photography project to raise the profile of Unesco World Heritage sites is seeking a PR agency.

Our Place World Heritage, which is currently sponsored by Panasonic, is looking to attract a second sponsor.

It is releasing a series of books next year and making short TV items in an attempt to make the sites, such as Angkor Wat temple in Cambodia (pictured), better known among the public.

The collection of photographs will be compiled into a database, and profits from the use of this database will go back into a UNESCO education fund and the maintenance of the World Heritage sites.

Director Geoff Steven said: ‘We want to promote and present these sites in an accessible and understandable way to a wider audience.’

There are over 800 World Heritage sites around the world and Our Place World Heritage have already photographed well over 150 of them, including Trinidad and the Valley de los Ingenios, Cuba (pictured, right).
