College Hill buys Stonehenge PR

College Hill has swooped for its second PR agency in three months, acquiring five-year-old City agency Stonehenge PR.

The resurgent College Hill is effectively buying the expertise of the two agency heads in a deal which will see founders Geoff Potter and Tim Halford become senior consultants and the Stonehenge name disappear.

The deal echoes College Hill's move for Gainsborough Communications earlier this year (PRWeek, 3 February).

Potter and Halford bring a wealth of experience to the agency. Potter was formerly GlaxoSmithKline senior vice president for corporate comms and global community partnerships, working within Glaxo corp comms for 23 years.

Halford was previously director of corporate affairs at Standard Chartered for eight years.
