Camargue bags housing account

The Government has hired Camargue to launch and promote an affordable housing advisory service.

The National Housing and Planning Advice Unit is using Camargue for media and events, including an official launch in June.

The body, funded by the Department for Communities and Local Government, is tasked with advising local councils on how to tackle the lack of affordable housing.

‘There are many disparate views about the property sector and why it is overheated,' said Camargue director Jo Lloyd.

Average incomes rose 92 percent in the ten years to 2005, but house prices rose by 204 per cent, according to government figures.
