De'Longhi picks Clarion for brief

White goods brand De'­Longhi has brought in ­Clarion Communications for a UK consumer and trade portfolio.

Clarion was picked from a six-way pitch for a brief that focuses on De'Longhi's coffee-maker range.

The account, worth more than £100,000, combines a series of press events, high- profile partnerships and consumer sampling.

Clarion CEO Gary Freemantle heads the account, reporting to De'Longhi UK marketing manager Giovanni Toffanno.
