The PA agency has bagged a brief with Integrated Dental Holdings, which provides both NHS and private care from its 150 dental centres.
The hire comes a year after the Department of Health introduced a new contract for dentists, designed to increase patients' access to NHS dental services.
The agency will look to convey the client's concerns that the new arrangements have resulted in some NHS dentists going private and others turning away patients because local Primary Care Trusts are running out of funds under the new system.
Agency managing partner Andrew Smith said: ‘The Policy Partnership is pleased to help IDH present its case to government on the impact of the reforms on NHS dentistry. As the largest provider of NHS dentistry, IDH has a unique view of how those reforms are progressing.'
